Rent the entire castle for your event.
We offer two options in particular:

* Three-day wedding with a ceremony

A classic, intimate French style wedding
In May*, June, September, and early October*; weekdays* or weekends. Maximum 60 people.
The castle is reserved exclusively for your event from Saturday afternoon to Sunday at 2 pm (or other days, if applicable).
The rental includes:
- The front courtyard ("parvis") for the ceremony |
- The french style garden for the celebratory cocktail |
- The vaulted room for the dinner and party (end of party 3am) |
- The 9 rooms for the overnight stay (up to 25 people) |
- Breakfast for those who spent the night at the castle or the space for a brunch with outside guests |
Set up and decoration can start the day before (without privatization) if it does not affect our other activities.

Wedding with ceremony over 3 days
Available in May*, June, September, and early October*; weekdays* or weekends. Maximum 60 people.
The château is exclusively yours for your event from Friday afternoon until Sunday at 2 pm (or other weekdays, if needed).
The rental includes everything required for a traditional French wedding, plus Friday afternoon, overnight accommodation, and Saturday breakfast (for those staying overnight).
Example of a 3 day wedding at Picomtal
Day 1: Afternoon: Arrival of the bride and groom and guests staying overnight at the château. Decorations begin to be set up. Games in the courtyard, dinner at Pierrot's (6-minute walk) or a picnic in the front courtyard.
Day 2: Breakfast for those staying overnight at the château, final touches to the decorations and preparations for the ceremony, arrival of the remaining guests, ceremony in the front courtyard, cocktail reception in the garden, and party in the vaulted hall (ending at 3:00 AM).
Day 3: Breakfast for those staying overnight or brunch with outside guests, check-out at 2:00 PM.

Additional Information
Overnight stay: we have 9 rooms for 2 to 4 people, accommodating up to 25 people. Ask us for the exact room configuration or find it on our website. There are other hotels nearby to accommodate extra guests. Would you or your guests like to stay (an) extra night(s)? We offer discounts on additional nights (before or after the event). Inquire within.
Service Providers: Caterer (+ service staff), music, florist and photographer are not included nor imposed. We can suggest good local suppliers (those we're used to working with), or you can choose on your own. For the caterer, if he or she is new to the château, we simply ask that they come and familiarize themselves with the premises beforehand to ensure that everything will be perfect on the day of the event.
Summary of the house rules: “make yourself at home but treat it with care.” The château is a recognized historical monument:
- The castle is 100% non-smoking indoors. Smoking can happen outside, away from entrance doors.
- No food or beverages in rooms or lounges (fragile furniture and carpets). Exception possible in the bride and groom's room (talk to us).
- No pets allowed.
- If there are children, they must be under the permanent supervision of designated adults (fragile gardens and potentially dangerous pools).
- Access to the kitchen is reserved for the caterer and staff.
